Plainview, Uniondale, East Meadow, Bellmore, Wantagh, Levittown, Hicksville, Seaford, Farmingdale, Syosset, Merrick and more - we came from all over to meet at the beach. We also met at various parties, ‘Salisbury’ Park, Uniondale Hot Line, and later on ‘Middle Earth’.

We sang songs. We played Winky Dink. We reveled in being wild and crazy and funny, but we were serious about our love for each other and for the world. We laughed, we sometimes cried, but mainly we helped each other through the tumultuous years of adolescence, united in friendship.
